Thanks for a very well written and thought out article! I went through this same calculation and thought process before purchasing this care--the most expensive car times 3 that I have ever purchased. Now that I have the car, I have no regrets: it's truly amazing. I hope you will be enjoying yours soon!

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. That's a great setup (14-24mm is huge!). I can't wait to show my wife this one in particular -

I appreciate it. I'm using a Nikon D700 - the best camera I've ever owned - along with a couple of very nice Nikon lenses. The super wide angle shots are with a Nikon 14-24mm lens - a very large piece of glass! For the portraits (including the rascal in the hoodie), I use the Nikon 24-70 2.8G or Nikon 105mm Micro, both of which are outstanding for that purpose (e.g., very nice bokeh - the soft out-of-focus areas). Thanks for checking out my site.

Your pics are amazing. What camera/lenses do you use? I used to live near North Bend, and I've never seen beauty like the way you capture it.

Love this story. I want to attach Spot to my keys and cellphone.

Finding the cellphone is easy IF you remember to turn it back to sound after switching it to vibrate.
