I’m on my first trip ever to San Diego. I’ve wanted to visit here for years, so I’m not sure why it took me so long. We’re halfway through the first of two weeks.
We’re staying on Shelter Island, where the Yokohama Friendship Bell is located. Here’s a shot I took after dinner at Pizza Nova.
A few days ago, we caught a nice sunset at the appropriately named Sunset Cliffs Park.

– a very nice camera, but it presents new challenges for a rank amateur like me: With such incredible resolution (36 megapixels!), sharp focus down to the pixel level requires a whole new level of attention. I’m not there yet.
