Speaking of Hoodies… Kids, Photography Add comments Apr 112012 These hoodies that zip down over the kid’s face are strangely disconcerting. Here Gus wandered up to the campfire in our backyard and I caught him as he walked through the smoke and some drifting ash. That’s a great setup (14-24mm is huge!). I can’t wait to show my wife this one in particular – http://photo.lightningjeff.net/Landscapes/Washington/Snoqualmie-Valley/22123544_wRPLCF#!i=1787616668&k=LghmqZj Breathtaking. Reply Lightning Jeff says: April 12, 2012 at 12:31 PM I appreciate it. I’m using a Nikon D700 – the best camera I’ve ever owned – along with a couple of very nice Nikon lenses. The super wide angle shots are with a Nikon 14-24mm lens – a very large piece of glass! For the portraits (including the rascal in the hoodie), I use the Nikon 24-70 2.8G or Nikon 105mm Micro, both of which are outstanding for that purpose (e.g., very nice bokeh – the soft out-of-focus areas). Thanks for checking out my site.
